MRS Events Group

On Tuesday 20th September 2011, for our first MRS Training Event, we were lucky to have Gillian Higgins presenting Horses Inside Out.

Gillian and Shirley arrived in the morning and were introduced to their models for the day, Cyril and Russ.

Painting began in earnest with enthusiastic help from all the staff.

At last everyone was ready. Cyril was painted to show the bones of the legs and neck as he was to be ridden by Gina during the demonstration.

Russ was painted with the full skeleton on one side and the muscles on the other. He was lunged by Emma during the evening.

The evening got under way at 7pm. Gillian gave a fascinating talk about the movement of the horse with Russ and Cyril acting as visual aids. Cyril was impeccably behaved. Russ revealed himself to be a bit of a ham actor. He played to the audience and stole the show by trying to eat Gillian's props!

Everyone had an informative and enjoyable evening. Our thanks go to Gillian and Shirley for a very professional demonstration and also to all our staff who help out during the day.
