Congratulations must go to several of our livery owners who qualified for the Trailblazers Dressage National Championships this summer! The Championships was run over two days,
with competitors riding a test each day. Those who were placed in the top ten for their section went on to the Finals on the second day, with consolation classes running for those not placed on the first day.
Katherine Taylor and Berry, who is an ex-riding school pony, competed in the Junior section at both Prelim and Novice level, and managed to get through to the Finals in both classes! They performed extremely well on the second day, riding two good tests to finish just out of the placings.
Louise, Mike and Richard Hodgson all qualified for the Prelim sections, and Mike was also riding at Novice level. Louise and Richard both produced two pleasing tests in the Senior and Junior Prelims respectively, but sadly were not placed overall. Mike did not make the finals, but was placed seventh in his consolation class at Novice level.
