We held a Riding Club dressage competition on Wednesday 30th January. There were two classes, one for Prelim 18 and the other for Novice 21.
We had a great turn out on the night despite the cold wintery weather, and Jeanette Dixon very kindly agreed to judge for us.
The results were as follows:
Class 1 - 6pm-7pm
1 - Meryl Spencer (Des)
2 - Sam Green (Cameron)
3 - Caroline Kentrop (Bruno)
4 - Louise Oakes (Zak)
5 - Elaine Wray (Ed)
6 = Shona Brown (Truffle)
6 = Mark Harby (Flint)
7 - Jeremy Eaton (Dizzy)
Class 2 - 7pm-8pm
1 - Gill Maddock (Russ)
2 - Lucy Ireland (Des)
3 - Rose Darlington (Zak)
4 - Allan Roworth (Monty)
5 - Rachel Andrews (Dreamer)
6 - Simone Le Roy (Truffle)
7 - Heather Hayes (Sligo)
Everyone looked extremely smart and almost unrecognisable in their show gear. Gerry gave rosettes and prizes for
the Best Turned Out in each class, and the awards went to Sam Green at 6pm and Gill Maddock at 7pm.
