After our summer coaching, we have continued to work on our polocrosse skills. We ran a three week course over the winter term, and
Anna, Emma and the rest of the staff have been busy teaching a number of our horses and ponies how to play, from Bree right up to Dizzy!
Over the Christmas holidays we ran a two day course for pony club members, giving them the chance to do lots of practise both mounted and on foot. Polocrosse is definitely
our noisiest activity, especially when there are not actually any horses involved!
Eight riders took part over the two days, riding a variety of exercises to improve their playing. At the end of the course they held a match, with two
teams called (for some bizarre reason known only to those on the course!) the 'Bobs' and the 'Non-Bobs'! In the end it was the 'Bobs' team who won, but
much fun was had by all! Watch this space for more polocrosse training in 2008.

The 'Bobs' team - Harry and Bruno, Lucy and Prince, Evie and Schuey, Maddie and Seren
The 'Non-Bobs' team - Olivia and Patch, Martha and Tucker, Isobel and Archie, Jessica and Tuppence
